Roger started his training in 1996 at the only university in the US offering full neurofeedback and qEEG training (University of North Texas).  He's become one of the up and coming researchers in the field, having raised several hundred thousand in grants for neurofeedback.  He's about to publish a key study on using neurofeedback in a double blind setting for ADHD.  He presented on this at the American Psychiatric Association in 2006 in Toronto.  He's conducting a two-year research grant integrating EEG
biofeedback in a residential setting with an at-risk female population.

 

Roger was president in 2005-2006 of ISNR, the largest professional membership organization dedicated to neurofeedback. He's been the main organizer for the very successful ISNR industry conference for several years.

 

qEEG services

Because of extensive experience combining qEEG's (EEG brain maps) with neurofeedback, he provides qEEG mapping and recommendation services for many different clinicians around the world. He also teach courses in learning qEEG. 

 

He is currently Director, Advanced Psychological Services, Hampton, Virginia, where he is in private practice conducting assessments, quantitative EEGs, EEG biofeedback, biofeedback, and individual and family therapy ranging from children to geriatric populations. He also serves as the Director of the Neurotherapy Program for the Jackson-Field Home for Girls, in Virginia.

 

Thru July of 2006, he was Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. 

 

He was Clinical Director of one of the first EEG Biofeedback Services programs in a major hospital at
Riverside Health System in Newport News, Virginia from 2000 to 2004.
