On-Site training
Our on-site training options is generally designed for situations where 3 or more people need training. It's not appropriate for all situations. On site training can pay for itself when you factor in travel costs, lost work in travel, and the ability to customize both the course and the schedule to fit each situation.
Our instructors very good teachers. That's the most important criteria to help learn. They are also extremely experienced and knowledgeable in the field - both clinically, with EEG and helping teach how to utilize equipment. By hosting a smaller class, much more time is available individually to address questions and to help each attendee understand the concepts and how to do neurofeedback.
You can contact us for more information to discuss whether it could be appropriate. Email info@aboutneurofeedback.com or call us at 561-747-0565.
There are good neurofeedback courses taught on a regular schedule that we recommend. Attending a really good course is typically where you'd want to start. Or, you can do on-site training and supplement it later with other courses. There's always more to learn.
3+2 or 3+3 days for on-site course
When we run an on-site course, we always start with 3 days. That can run over a weekend (Fri to Sun) or be held during the week. We then provide homework for everyone to practice and consolidate their learning. We come back within 30-60 days for followup training. This helps reinforce knowledge, help you learn to "think neurofeedback" and works quite well to jump start the learning curve.
We help you figure out if an on-site course is appropriate. The on-site course is more hands-on, and more focused on getting you started doing neurofeedback than a the more standard courses offered. . It spends less time on theory, science and neurophysiology. We think it's useful and important information also, but do you learn it earlier or later depends on the situation.
On-site training can help you start seeing patients more quickly by having a more specialized on-site course. If you have several staff to train, on site training could pay for itself. If it fits your situation, we can help arrange the appropriate on-site training, and help have it customized appropriate to the your requirements.
